She was predeceased by : her parents, John Scott and Rosa Lee Scott; her husband Leroy McDonald; and her siblings, John Frank Scott, Pearl Thigpen and Sarah Ann Scott.

She is survived by : her son Tommy McDonald of Greenville; and her sister Rosa Mae Herdon of Greenville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
