She was predeceased by : her parents, Otto Bangert and Sophie Fingerhut Bangert; her sister Emma Wherry; and her granddaughter Brittany Tolar. She is survived by : her husband Robert Tolar of Lee, Florida; her son Michael Thomas Tolar (Melanie C.) of Madison, Florida; her granddaughters, Kaitlyn Ortega (Gavino) of Madison and Alison King (Taylor) of Valdosta, Georgia; and her great grandchildren, Benicio Ortega, Julio Ortega and Eliza Jane King.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Beggs Funeral Home - Madison Chapel (235 NW Orange Ave, Madison, FL 32340). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Beggs Funeral Home Madison Chapel (235 NW Orange Ave, Madison, FL 32340). A burial was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at the Oak Ridge Cemetery.
