She was predeceased by : her parents, John Hamilton and Leverna Pearce; and her siblings, J. W. Pierce (Liza), Talmadge Pearce (Shirley), Jeanette Bruner (Earl), Joleen Evins (Hubert), John Hamilton (Maureen) and Ann Varnadore.

She is survived by : her former life partner Charles Donald Vaughn; her husband Donald Higgins Caughran; her daughter Angie (Jim Tyler) of Marianna; her granddaughter Julie Smith (Steve); her great grandchild Mary Helen Smith (Vince); her stepdaughter Roseanne Caughran; her stepgrandchild Shawn Gause (Minnie); her sister Martha Hutchison (Joe Ed) of Panama City; and also, J. D. Tyler (Megan), Dekle Willis (Cassie), Ross Caughran (Sissy), Austin, Aaron, Lyle, Michael Caughran (Jessie), Cathy Hamm (Kenny) and Stephanie Ward (Keith). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and special friends.
