She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Fears and Annie Mae Fears; her husband Charles "Buster" Sawyer; her siblings, Merita Fears, Vivian Fears Ford and Alex Fears, Jr.; her sisters-in-law, Miriam Bailey and Bettye Sawyer; and her niece Christy Ann Manning.
She is survived by: her son Charles William "Chuck" Sawyer, Jr. (Christina) of Platte City, Missouri; her granddaughter Emma Claire Wangle (Jake) of Malone; her great grandchildren, Jarrett Dean Wangle and Callen Thomas Wangle; her brother-in-law Larry Ford (Ann) of Greenwood; her nieces, Lisa Ford Shiflett (Michael), Donna Ford Rogers (Rhett) of Malone and Allison Ford Stoutamire (Kenneth) of Marianna; and her brother-in-law Tom Sawyer (Derone) of Screven, GA. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
