He was predeceased by : his parents, John Jackson "Edgar" and Leobia Baxter; his wife Lois Baxter; his daughter Marie Burroughs; and his sisters, Ados Ducker and Corene Hyatt.
He is survived by : his daughters, Terry Hatcher and Patsy Baxter; his grandchildren, Melissa Anderson, Lezlie Burch (Brandan) and Robert Rogers; and his siblings, Gene Baxter, Bill Baxter and Mary Stringfellow. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
