It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Lee Carter of Marco Island, Florida, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William and Daisy (Godman); and his sister Kathie (Laesch). He is survived by : his wife Barbara; his daughters, Jennifer and Stephanie; and his siblings, Stephen Carter (Sue), Christina Haskins, Annette Dotson (Peter), Karen Howe, David (Teresa) and Barbara Boyington (William). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
