She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Desrosiers and Juliette Desrosiers (Leduc); and her sister Elaine Desrosiers. She is survived by: her husband Rodney Waters; her daughters, Sherri Laabs (Jason) of Wethersfield and Kristen Caudill (Clarke) of Dublin, Ohio; her granddaughters, Julia Laabs, Carly Laabs, Sylvia Caudill and Sydney Caudill; and her brothers, Richard Desrosiers of Austin and Paul Desrosiers (Ashley) of Rockport, Massachusetts.. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Therefore, In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation in Janet's name can be made to the Palmer Lung Transplant Fund at Duke University Hospital.
