He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard P. Donovan and Marie "Rose" Donovan. He is survived by : his daughter Candie; his wife Debra A. (Gatto); his children, Paul M. (Margaret) of Oakham, MA and Candice M. Simmons (Tobias) of Naples, FL; his grandson Cole Simmons; his stepgranddaughters, Ashley and Alyssa Simmons; his stepgreat-grandson Cameron Simmons; and his siblings, April A. DeWolfe (David), Kathleen M. Uhlman (Douglas), Richard P. Donovan Jr., Thomas D. Donovan, Karol F. Donovan (Michael), Dennis P. Donovan and David A. Donovan (Kristy). He is also survived by his family, friends.

“Debbie, I am so sorry for your loss of John. I don't know if you remember me, but i am Lynne Gordon and we graduated high school together. John lived on my street and i've known him and his family my whole life. I know that your mother -in -law-also passed not very long ago.
