He was predeceased by: his father Raymond C. Thoman. He is survived by: his mother Linda S. Thoman (Mangum); his wife Denise M. Thoman (Eagleston); his son Brandon R. Thoman; his brother R. Mark Thoman (Becki); and his grandson Braxton. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
