Edward leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Edward’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Brooks and June Brooks; and his wife Dixie. He is survived by: his children, Jamie Brooks of Roswell, Georgia and Jeff Brooks of Coral Springs, Florida; his siblings, Jan Hamilton (AJ) and Kent Brooks (Michelle); his sister-in-law Shelly Lancaster; his nieces, Stacey Gibson (Jeramy) and Julie Hamilton; his great-nieces, Kylie and Olivia; and his great-nephew Cole.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 9810 W Sample Rd, Coral Springs, FL 33065.
