It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Addis Mayo (Marianna, Florida), who passed away on November 6, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sons, Donnie Mayo and Dell Mayo; her grandson Jared Ryan Kent; her great grandchild Jacob Blackwell, IV; her siblings, Marion Mayo, Harold Mayo, Kenneth Mayo, Carlos Mayo and Linnie Mayo; and the father of her children George Henry Mayo.
She is survived by: her children, David Mayo (Teresa) and Carolyn Diane Wasson; her siblings, Wallace Mayo (Carolyn), Lonnie Hancock and Bessie M. Collins (Bill); her grandchildren, Tony Mayo, Tonya Crutchfield, Tammy Blackwell, Shane Kent, Lance Wasson and Lucas Wasson; and her great grandchildren, Nathaniel Mayo, Christopher Kent, Jr., Ashley White, Haley Wasson, LT Wasson, McKenzie Wasson, Christina Smith, Layne Mayo, Faith Blackwell, Raylin Norris, Chloe Wasson and Colby Wasson.
