It is with sadness that the passing of David L. Mitchell of Marianna, Florida is shared. David, born on December 26, 1949, passed away on September 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
David will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor David by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though David is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. David’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Pauline Carter. He was also cherished by his three children, nine siblings, a host of grandchildren, and great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Peoples Funeral Home Chapel (2876 Orange St, Marianna, FL 32448).
