She was predeceased by: her parents, Ocie Moore and Earnestine Singletary Moore; her husband Rev. Louie D. Pettis; her grandson Justin Pettis; and her siblings, Mary Ann Bearden, Frankie Everett, Junior Moore and Olen Moore.
She is survived by: her sons, Rev. LaVon Pettis (Brenda) and Rev. Steve Pettis (Regina); her siblings, Jewel Covington (Horace) and Jimmy Moore (Bonnie); her grandchildren, Hannah Hamby (Brad), Lauren Maxwell (Marcus), Chelsey Chaney (Christian), Jenna Strahan (Garrison) and Ethan Pettis (Makayla); and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jake, Tripp, Tucker, Emerson, Edyn, Aislyn, Ella and Everly.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Calendar Evangel Church (4792 US-90, Marianna, FL 32446). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
