She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Woods and Annie Woods; her husband Aubrey Melvin; her sons, Charles Ira Porter and Aubrey Keith Melvin; and her siblings, Ester Vickery and Don Woods.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Suzanne Griffin (John); her great grandchildren, Krista Griffin and Kyle Griffin; her sister Elois Peacock; and her niece Donna Touchstone. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home (2403 Harrison Ave, Panama City, FL 32405). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
