It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Bowles (Marianna, Florida), who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Glover and Handy Jenkins. She is survived by: her sister Bowles; her children, Benjamin Bowles, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL and Jacqueline B. Edwards; her godson Rev. Joe Curry; and her cousin Minnie Mae Wooten. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, a nephew, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.
