He was predeceased by: his brother John Paul Mayes; and his grandson Luke James Sullivan. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Mayes of Marianna, FL; his children, Sherry Lee Sullivan (Russell) of Moorcroft, WY, Margaret Ann Mayes of Aurora, CO, Jonathan Mayes (Breanna) of Marianna, FL and Drew Mayes of Marianna, FL; his grandson Jimmy Mae Maclucky; and his stepdaughters, Melynda Nickels (Shawn) and Pam Willis (Paul). He is also survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
