He was predeceased by: his parent Lee Wilson; his wife Annelle McDaniel; his mother Audrey Mae Medlock McDaniel; his sisters, Sandra Himes and Janice Zimmerle; and his grandson Jessee Zelnick.
He is survived by: his children, Lydia Dawn Tischler (Gabe), James Kenneth "Jamie" McDaniel (Lisa), Peewee Bryan, John Byran (Missy), Jean Lipford and Lori Barwick (Jason); his grandchildren, Hana Copeland (Nathan), Lydia Baxter (Matt), Kayley Shouppe (Gavin), Kody Bryan (Rebecca), Kiley Bryan (Shayna), Stephanie Tisius (Bradly), Whitney Lipford, Riley Lipford, Jadon Combs (Zack), Jason Barwick (Kari) and Anna Andrews (Cordel); his brother-in-law Buddy Hall; and his grandchildren, Cory, Carson and Caden Akerson. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews he loved.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel (4278 Lafayette St, Marianna, FL 32446).
