Jek'Bian Beachum Obituary

Master Jek'Bian "Kabi" Beachem received the gift of life in Marianna, Florida, when he was born to Chandrella Smith and Ladarius Beachem, Sr.

He entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at the Children's of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.

Ka'bi, as he was affectionately called, was a fun-loving kid. He was a student in the Jackson County School System, where he attended Marianna K-8 School.

Ka'bi was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Cynthia Pete.

Memories of Kabi will forever remain with his mother, Chandrella Smith; father, Ladarius Beachem, Sr.; siblings, Ladarius Beachem, Jr., Tequonna Beachem, Pambria Beachem, Patrice Beachem, Deasia Beachem, Jaderia Beachem, Jaquaveon Beachem, Jermaine Riley, and Ladarion Pruitt; grandfathers, Wayne Smith and Carlton Curry; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 05, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Buckhorn Missionary Baptist Church located at 4691 Highway 162 in Marianna with Minister Geroge McElroy, Minister George Bowers, Rev. Robert Baker, Rev. Kevin Williams and Minister James Rhynes officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with the caring staff of Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna, FL directing. The body will lie-in-state at the church from 12:00 noon until funeral time at 1:00 p.m.
