He was predeceased by: his wife Orianna Elizabeth Bowen; his son Hays V. Bowen of Colquitt, GA; and his granddaughters, Vickie Adams and Patricia Loveday of Colquitt, GA.. He is survived by: his daughters, Ruby Ellen Oswald (Wayne) of Graceville, Dianne Weinstein (Bob) of Tallahassee and Winnie Thames of Dublin, GA; his daughter-in-law Mildred Bowen; and his grandchildren, Susan Henley of Colquitt, GA, Michael Bowen of Colquitt, GA, Tanya Davenport, Cecelia Grissett of Graceville, Patrick Thames of Dublin, GA and Justin Thames of Tallahassee. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
