She was predeceased by: her parents, Etna Granger and Willis J. Granger; her husband Frank L. Bates; and her brother Butch Thigpen. She is survived by: her children, Denise King Jackson (Patrick), Billy King (Rebecca) and Angela Hunt (Bryan); her grandchildren, Hailee Caldwell (Taylor), Noah King and Ashton Gooden (Zach); her great grandchildren, Conner Caldwell, Cole Caldwell and Evee Gooden; and her siblings, Lucy Hundley (Willoughby), Nancy Granger and Bobby Stinson (Patricia Jackson). She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
