He was predeceased by: his father James Deese. He is survived by: his wife Donna Deese of Marianna, FL; his children, Robin Richardson of Rehobeth, AL, Angelia Graham (Bruce) of Marianna, FL, Chris Todd (Kelli) of Greenwood, FL and Brian Deese of Chipley, FL; his mother Diane Metcalf Deese; and his siblings, Lucky Deese (Carolyn) of Panama City, FL, Wendy Willis (Daniel) of Marianna, FL, Reba Hagans (Kevin) of Marianna, FL and Nancy Meadows (Joey) of Marianna, FL. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the New Salem Baptist Church (3478 Kynesville Rd, Marianna, FL 32448).
