She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Gray and Mahuldie Gray; her children, Helen Russ, Betty J. Barnes and Ozie White; her siblings, Charlie Gray, Johnnie Gray, Roosevelt Gray and Mary L. Duncan; and her grandson Devin Miller.

She is survived by: her children, Della Mae Gray, Patricia Miller (Darius), Eugene Pittman and Eddie Charles Russ (Theresa); her grandchildren, Tabitha Taylor (Timothy), Lisa Peterson, Darius Miller (Enger), Phyllis Jackson, Sabrina Gray-Simkin, Eli Gray, Eddie Charles Russ, Jr., Edward Smith, Kenneth Burch, Shontay Russ, Lakisha Williams and Michael Williams; and her close friend James Blount. She is also survived by 31 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.
