He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn and Judge McDaniel; his son Michael W. McDaniel; and his brothers, Morris Wade McDaniel, Willard McDaniel and Clifford McDaniel.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia McDaniel; his son Troy McDaniel (Jennifer); his sister Virginia Young (Thomas); his grandchildren, Ashley Marie Kennell (Mark), Michael Norris McDaniel and Courtney Ware; and his great grandchild Wyatt Kennell.
