She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Beckerman and Claire Beckerman; and her husband William "Buddy" Straughn. She is survived by: her children, Marci Glover (Larry), Tammy Davis (John), Reena Morales (Ben), Janeen Blighton and Matthew Straughn (Rebecca); and her sisters, Joy Deal (Larry) and Jodi Kostovic. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren.
