He was predeceased by: his parents, Lexie Hodges and Joe Hodges; and the mother of his children Shirley Hodges. He is survived by: his wife Clerea Hodges; his son Robert D. Hodges, Jr. of Tuscaloosa, AL; his stepson Tracy Pettis of Tennessee; his daughter Cynthia Stone of West Monroe, LA; and his grandchildren, Jonathan, Michael, Clint Hodges, Tiffany Stone, Alan Stone, Jr., Dillon Pettis and Austin Pettis. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
