He is survived by: his wife Pam Phelps; his sons, Jay Phelps and Lyle Phelps; his sister Dawn; his brother-in-law Fuzzy Edwards; his sibling's children, Holli Revell (Silas), Wade Chalker, Drew Chalker and Tim Scott; his brother-in-law Dickie Dannels; his in-laws, John and Pat King; Rachel Durastanti.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Scott's memory to Habitat for Humanity of Marianna or Eastside Baptist Church, causes that reflect the heart of his life's work and faith.
