It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonny Hughes of Marianna, Florida, who passed away on July 24, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sonny Hughes to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife June Hughes; and his parents, William Odell and Sarah Peacock Hughes. He is survived by: his sons, Timmy Hughes (Linda) of Cottonwood, AL, Rodney Hughes (Debbie) of Fortson, GA and Scotty Hughes (Melissa) of Marianna, FL; his siblings, Billy Hughes (Emma) of Dothan, AL, Bobby Hughes, Sr. of Marianna, Dell Hughes (Karen) of Marianna and Betty Lou Gary of Clanton, AL; and his grandchildren, Erica Tolin (Brad), Heather Hughes, Brandon Hughes, Ryan Hughes (Heather), Bowen Hughes (Ashley), Bailey Oxendine (Zack), Hannah O'Connor (Wesley) and Zane Isler. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
