With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter Mark Hardy (Marianna, Florida), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2025 at the age of 78. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Walter may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Earline and Mark Newton Hardy; and his wife Cheryl. He is survived by: his granddaughter Samantha "Sam" Leigh Miller of Marianna, FL; and his great grandchildren, Isabella Miller and Jasper Miller. He is also survived by brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home (3960 US-90, Marianna, FL 32446).
