He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Marion Emanuel and Thelma Smith Emanuel; his wife Dorothy Owens Emanuel; his grandson Casey Emanuel; and his nephew Terry Sykes.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Lee Emanuel (Michelle), Dorothy Ann Smith (Vince), Alice Faye Ivester (Wayne) and Donald Jay Emanuel; his stepchildren, Kris Shores (Mike Lawrence) and Michael Shores (Joanna); his sister Dorothy Hyatt; his niece Marcia White; and his nephew Tony Harrell. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, extending his family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home (3960 US-90, Marianna, FL 32446). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Pinecrest Memorial Gardens (3720 Caverns Rd, Marianna, FL 32446).
