He was predeceased by: his parents, Finnie Ming and Claudie Miles Ming; and his children, Marie Pardon, Donna Morris and Fletcher "Bo" Lipford.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Ming; his son Franklin Lipford; and his sister Annie Barbara "Bobbie" Hatcher. He is also survived by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
