We announce the death of Zelna E. Metcalf of Marianna, Florida, who passed away on August 3, 2026, at the age of 76. Zelna will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Zelna’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Smith Bowling and Mattie Bess Abernathy Bowling; and her siblings, James Bowling and Alene Crosby. She is survived by: her son Jason Lee; her daughter-in-law Jessica Wellman Metcalf of Alpharetta, Georgia; and her siblings, George Bowling of Doerun, Frank Bowling, Russell Bowling of Marianna, Florida, Mary Ann Hill of Scottsburg and Janice Brown of Marianna, Florida. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
