He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Alfred Gates; his wife Marilyn Squeglia Gates; his daughter Kathryn Elizabeth Gates; and his siblings, Alfred Gates Jr., Harry Gates (Barbara), Herbert Gates (Barbara), Karen Runkey, Elaine Suvak, Mary Abraham of Virginia, Edgar Gates (Emma), William Gates (Faye), Dorothy Greenberger (Robert), Thomas Gates (Cheryl), Walter Gates (Susan), Nellie Taylor and Winifred Gates.
Donations may be made in Bart's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
