He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred McCray and Lois McCray; his wife Betty Jean Barnhart McCray; and his siblings, Lorell Lee, Kenneth and Terry McCray.
He is survived by: his sons, Craig McCray of Orange City, FL, Wade McCray (Becky) of Sanford, FL and Brian McCray of Mayo; and his brothers, Chester McCray (Virginia) and Jerry McCray (Gail). He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Joe P. Burns Funeral Home - Mayo (440 SW Monroe Ave, Mayo, FL 32066). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
