He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Edward and Leona Jackson McCray; his former wife EvaMurl Chauncey McCray; his daughter Donna McCray McMahan; and his brother Bobby McCray.
He is survived by: his stepson Matthew Boatright; his wife Kathy Walker McCray; his brother Lamar (Betty); his siblings-in-law, Marion McCray and Roscoe Chauncey; his children, Eddie (Jennifer) and Rita (Jim); his son-in-law Scott McMahan; his grandchildren, Lauren Duncan, Sean McMahan (Eden), John Torell (Rachel), Claire Torell (Patrick), Sallie Torell, Jackson McCray and Maxx McCray; and his great grandchildren, Jase, Hill Duncan, Sailor, Finn McMahan and Florence Torell.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Airline Baptist Church (200 NE County Rd 354, Mayo, FL 32066). A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Haven Hospice of Lake City, FL.
