He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washington Wimberley and Lula Belle Lee Wimberley; his wife Ella Mae Johns Wimberley; and his daughter Sharon Marie Wimberley. He is survived by: his children, Jo Anne Wimberley and Michael Wimberley; and his brothers, Elton "Coy" Wimberley and Ovedia "Junior" Wimberley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Airline Cemetery (200 NE County Rd 354, Mayo, FL 32066).
