He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard McKinster and Lila Olson McKinster; his daughter KelliJo Shiver; and his siblings, Cheri Hupf, Jack and Pat McKinster.
He is survived by: his wife Karen McKinster; his children, Ronelynn Mebs, John Shiver and Brandon McKinster (Kristen); his grandchildren, Selina, Brandon V. McKinster, Haley, Tacarra, Paige and Logan Shiver; and his siblings, Michael, Chris, Dale McKintster, Susie Zimmermann and Sandy O'Neil. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
