Larry Nicholas Holland Obituary

SPC Larry "Sonny" Nicholas Holland, Sr. Of Hudson, Florida, went home to be with his Savior, Sunday February 3rd 2019 at the age of 68. Born May 22, 1950, in Atmore, Alabama to Jewel and Ruby Holland. He lived most of his life in McDavid, Florida. He was of the Baptist faith, he loved to sing, play and write gospel music. He proudly served his country for six years, in the National Guard and U. S. Army.

He was attached to National Guard Unit Pensacola, Florida, 1st Special Forces Green Beret Unit Okinawa and 1st Calvary Division Fort Hood, Texas. He is survived by a brother Bobby (Sandra) Holland and sister Karen Archer. His Four children, two daughters Angela DeVoss and Janelle Holland, two sons MSgt. Larry "Nik" (Carrie) Holland, Jr., Ret USAF and Rusty (Natalie) Holland.

Ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Jewel and Ruby Holland.
