He was predeceased by: his parents, Van D. Sr. Brown and Maggie Hall Brown; his daughters, Sheila Kelley and Dawn Brown; his granddaughter Andrea Townson; his sons-in-law, Dale Townson and Timothy Kelley, Sr.; his siblings, Effie Broxton, Doris Simpson, Ida Mae White, Shirley Willis, Barbara Brown, Van Brown Jr., Edward Brown, Harvey Brown, Isaac Brown and Harold Brown; and his extended family, Elena Fischer and Jerry "Little Jerry" Fischer Jr. Troy.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Brown; his daughters, Teresa Johnson (Michael) and Pamila Townson; his grandchildren, Chad Burkett (Jacqueline), Trey Johnson, Drew Townson (Nicole), Lily Clemmons (Marcus), Lindsey Kelley, Lee Kelley and Parish Harrell (Josh); his great grandchildren, JT, Everett, Eliza, Piper and Rosemary; his sisters-in-law, Deloris Brown and Oleta Brown; and his extended family, Jerry Fischer Sr., Julie Fischer Thornton and Jeff Fischer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church (3218 Molino Rd, Molino, FL 32577). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
