It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cary G. McCollum of McIntosh, Florida, who passed away on September 5, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cary G. McCollum to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his brother Cecil McCollum; and his son Benjamin Grant McCollum (Elaine Nolan). He is survived by: his wife Linda Cannon McCollum; his children, Bobbie Robinson (Randy), Lindy Brounley (Bob), Katie Deaderick (Lee) and Silas McCollum; his grandchildren, Jason Robinson (Sandi), Cary Brounley, Annie Deaderick, Maggie Deaderick, Mark Deaderick, Grace Deaderick, Olivia McCollum and Kerry McCollum; his great grandchildren, Luke, Jake and Isaac Robinson; and his brothers, Charles, Clifford and Joe McCollum.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, a private, family service will take place at 10 a. m. on Sept. 26., and will be live-streamed on https: //http://www.mcintoshchurch.org.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts be made to Hospice of Marion County or to the Shriner's Children's Hospital.
