He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander J. Kovacs, Sr. and Christine Bradley Kovacs; and his siblings, Donald A. Kovacs and Sandra Kovacs Emerson. He is survived by: his wife Debra Kovacs (Lang); and his sister Christine Kovacs Durkin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their children.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Green Funeral Home (57 Main St, Danbury, CT 06810). The military honors will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the St. Peter Cemetery (71 Lake Ave Ext, Danbury, CT 06810).
