She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bird and Dorothy Bird; her husband Frank Cariou; and her siblings, Eleanor Coffey, Mary Jane Volpi, Gloria Olney, Jack, William and Richard Bird.
She is survived by: her brother Robert Bird; and her sisters-in-law, Anne-Marie Bird and Sue Bird. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
