With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Margaret Ann of Melbourne Beach, Florida, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Margaret left this world on May 28, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Margaret leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Margaret may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fannie Davenport and Edward Davenport; her son Richard J. Drake Jr.; and her grandson Nicholas Drake. She is survived by: her children, Edward Davenport Drake (Maria) and Victoria Drake Hibbard (Joseph); her sister Natalie Davenport Bushnell; her grandchildren, Kathryn Hibbard (William Gaines), William Hibbard (Deanna Borrelli) and Elena Drake Koether (Allan Koether); and her great grandchildren, Harper, Hendrix Koether and Liam Gaines.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Benton-Bar Cemetery (2591 Lucas Turnpike, High Falls, NY 12440).
