He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Hines and Eva Hines; and his siblings, Lascalle Hines and Rosalind Hines Wright. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Myers-Hines; his children, Paulette Hines-Stanley (Easop), Althea Hines-Morgan (Shawn), Alfonso Hines Jr. (Tina), Ava Hines, Avril Lecky (Hugh) and Ian Bernard (Saudia); and his siblings, Frank Edwards, Dorothy Edwards, Jarrett and Manley Albert Hines. He is also survived by grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 PM at the Presbyterian Church (810 W Florida Ave, Melbourne, FL 32901). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fountainhead Memorial Park (7303 Babcock St SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909, USA).
