She was predeceased by: her father Julio Irizarry; her husband Ramon Luis Echevarria; her daughter Annette Flynn; and her son-in-law Michael Ball. She is survived by: her mother Luz Maria Figueroa Irizarry; her children, Jeannette Ball and Ramon L. Echevarria II (Suzanne Echevarria); her son-in-law Joseph Flynn; her grandchildren, Ray Flynn (Valerie Flynn), Travis Blain, Stephanie Stewart (Cruz Stewart), Kristen Cremer (Jason Cremer), Cameron Echevarria and Christopher Echevarria (Hannah Echevarria); and her great grandchildren, Nathan Stewart, Nicholas Stewart, Mason Stewart and Alyssa Stewart.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in her memory to one of the following charitable organizations, honoring her lifelong spirit of giving: Mercy Ships, Paralyzed Veterans of America, Feed the Children, Doctors Without Borders, CARE, UNICEF, or Feeding America.
