Barbara Lee left this world on July 10, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Barbara Lee may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara Lee touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Herrick Jeffers; her daughter Jennifer Lee Jeffers; and her parents, Egbert "Kent" Clark and Catherine "Kit" Clark (Groseclose). She is survived by: her son David Jeffers; her daughter-in-law Polly Jeffers of New Hampshire; her granddaughter Rachael Jeffers of Rhode Island; her sister Ann Beck (Clark) of Oregon; and her brother-in-law Edward Bishop (Faith Edwin) of Rhode Island. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Church (6895 Murrell Rd, Melbourne, FL 32940).
