He was predeceased by: his parents, Hellen Gilliland (Cochran) and Lawrence Gilliland; his wife Sammy Ann Gilliland; his stepson Greg Fanning; and his great grandchild Ashtyn Gilliland.
He is survived by: his children, Don Gilliland, Cindy Hunt and Judith Gilliland; his stepchildren, Kelly Dugal (Wayne) and Mike Fanning (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Aaron Gilliland (Mandi), Grandt Gilliland, Abigail Hunt, Phillip Dugal (Katie), Lauren Hall (Adrian), Andrew Dugal (Sarah), Taylor Fanning (Anne), Karis Wilson (Evan) and Allyssa Fanning. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Habitat for Humanity, 4515 Babcock Street, Palm Bay, Florida 32905.
