He was predeceased by: his granddaughters, Jaclyn (Finsted) of West Melbourne and Sarah (Brinkmann) of Weatherford, Texas; his parents, Martin and Sylvia (Slaasted); and his siblings, Donna (Peters) of Racine, Wisconsin and Robert Brinkmann of The Villages, Florida..

He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Beicher); his sister Bonnie (Gease) of Rapid City; and his children, Denise Breitweiser (Jeff) of Melbourne, Brian Brinkmann (Jennifer) of Weatherford, Theresa Carney (Tim) of Melbourne and Debbie Finsted (Charlie) of West Melbourne. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

I met Dan back in 1992 and will forever cherish his memories. My heartfelt sympathies go out to Barbara and his family. Although pictures fade , memories do not. My love to all. John McGoff”
