He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Neilan and Harry Neilan Sr. of Groton, CT.; his brothers, Harry Jr. and Frank; and his son Donald Reed Neilan.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou (Reed); and his daughter Pamela Mauldin (Victor). He is also survived by four grandchildren and five great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
