He was predeceased by: his parents, Meryl Hines Moorman and George C. Moorman. He is survived by: his sons, George Doan Moorman Jr., Kenneth Clark (Janet Moorman) and John Robert (Alison Moorman); his grandchildren, Justin Moorman, Kyler Saffo (Bryan), Kenneth Moorman (Michaela) and Magdaline Moorman; and his great grandchildren, Clara, Dominic Saffo, Amelia and Roger Moorman.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the First United Methodist Church of Sikeston.
