She was predeceased by : her parents, Tollak Johan Skogland and Karen Laberg; her husband Odd Fredrik Johannessen; her siblings, Ellen Skogland, Åse Munkejord and Tollak Johan Skogland; and her sister-in-law Luli Johannessen.

She is survived by : her children, Birgitte Johannessen Coughlin, Eyvind Johannessen (Lisa) and Karen Schram (Chris); her grandchildren, Lauren, Samantha, Sara, Hunter, Pamela, Stephen, Nicholas, Hannah and Emma; and her great grandchildren, Lillian, Owen, Garrett, Jaxon and Charlotte.
